Hello, would you like to visit France this Sunday?

Well, myself and eight other amazing authors based in France have put together a fun way to do just that! We are hosting a Facebook Event this Sunday 17 May for nine hours to answer questions about visiting Paris and other areas of la belle France, plus we have a swanky PDF to give everyone who pops in to join us!

You certainly don’t have to stay glued to the Event for the full nine hours to get the free PDF – in fact, if you are on there for the whole nine hours then you may need more help than our PDF can offer – but we’d LOVE to see you pop in and out as you wish and to give you our beautiful 50-page insider’s guide that we’ve created just for this event.

The line-up is (using Eastern Standard Time on Sunday 17 May):

10:00 am – 11:00 am: Kristin Louise Duncombe (4-5 pm Paris time)
11:00 am – 12:00 pm: Jennie Lawlis Goutet (5-6 pm Paris time)
12:00 pm – 1:00 pm : Samantha Vérant (6-7 pm Paris time)
1:00 pm – 2:00 pm: Janice MacLeod-Lik (7-8 pm Paris time)
2:00 pm – 3:00 pm: Adria Cimino (8-9 pm Paris time)
3:00 pm – 4:00 pm: Didier Quémener (9-10 pm Paris time)
4:00 pm – 5:00 pm: Janina Rossiter (10-11 pm Paris time)
5:00 pm – 6:00 pm: Vicki Lesage (11-12 pm Paris time)
6:00 pm – 7:00 pm: Lizzie Harwood (12 pm – 1 am Paris time)

As you can see, I’m going to need coffee on Monday morning with my midnight shift!! but I chose this slot to reach lovely New Zealanders and Australians on Monday morning and if you are a night owl like myself you may just still be up at midnight this Sunday here in Europe!

See you there!!!

  1. Hi Lizzie, What a great idea. If it weren’t for the Auckland Writers Festival all weekend I would be logging on to join you. Thanks for the fantastic answers to questions. Due to festival commitments I will post your profile in about two week’s time. I am getting pretty excited, tomorrow our university class has a master class with Ben Okri. Amazing!! And I am seeing the amazing Amy Bloom. Saturday I’m MCing two events at the Auckland Art Gallery, seeing David Walliams with the children and Murakami in the evening; and Sunday seeing David Mitchell and Tim Winton. Positively a feast of literary heroes. Who are your favourite authors? Good luck with the Facebook event. Caroline x
